  • Brooklyn has the oldest housing stock in the City

  • 50% of NYC's community gardeners are in Brooklyn

  • 350,000 adults are high school drop outs

  • Brooklyn has 30 miles of waterfront

  • More than 500,000 Brooklynites live below the poverty line
