Facts and research-based information about Brooklyn, its people and its institutions are critical components of our work.  The Foundation’s grants, activities and initiatives will respond to demonstrated needs.

Through a competitive grants process, we support innovative, creative, and efficient nonprofit organizations that clearly articulate missions and goals and that can prove successful at meeting the needs of Brooklyn families, individuals and neighborhoods.

Brooklyn Community Foundation is a partnership: of donors, nonprofit groups and civic leaders, and all those that care about Brooklyn.  We strive to collaborate, convene and communicate in ways that promote generosity, civic involvement, good public policy and caring for our neighbors and neighborhoods.
