Dara Lehon

Dara Lehon, Vice President for Communications, helps let people know about great opportunities to DO GOOD in Brooklyn. Dara has been managing and leading integrated marketing communications efforts for both private and nonprofit entities throughout her career. She has led local nonprofits like the Lower East Side Business Improvement District, managed public relations for overseas humanitarian aid organizations like the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee, worked with small start ups and other large, global institutions both in house and as a consultant. Dara earned her B.A at Binghamton University (SUNY) and is pursuing her M.S. in Strategic Communications at Columbia University. A former street roller-blader-turned road-cyclist, she loves a good farmers market apple and takes pride in her deep, native NYC roots.
