Using an open, competitive process, the Brooklyn Community Foundation awards grants to the borough's most innovative nonprofits in five distinct "fields of interest" that focus on improving the quality of life for Brooklynites. Each fund has clearly articulated objectives and reflects the borough's current and changing needs.
