Using an open competitive process, each year Brooklyn Community Foundation awards grants to the borough's most innovative nonprofits in five distinct Field of Interest funds.

These funds are designed to improve quality of life for all Brooklynites—from affordable housing to educational opportunities, and beyond. Each fund has clearly articulated objectives and reflects the borough's current and changing needs.
