Gabriel Schwartz is Co-Deputy Executive Managing Member of Davidson Kempner Capital Management LP, a global institutional investment management firm, which he joined in 2009. Prior to that, he was a Managing Director in the Special Situations Group at Goldman, Sachs & Co. Mr. Schwartz holds a B.A. from Colgate University.
He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Trustees of the Brooklyn Friends School and also serves as a member of its Finance and Advancement Committees. He was previously a member of the Board of Directors of Achievement First, a charter school network with schools throughout Brooklyn. Mr. Schwartz lives in Brooklyn Heights with his wife and two children. He joined the Foundation's Board of Directors in January 2015.
