Sabine Frid-Bernards

Program Officer (She/Her/Hers)

Sabine joined the Foundation in September 2022. Sabine is originally from Portland, Oregon and moved to Brooklyn 11 years ago. She has worked in grassroots grantmaking, nonprofit operations, and childcare in addition to helping run Oral History Summer School for the past four years. She has a degree in Political Science, Spanish, and Latin American Studies from Seattle University and is passionate about intergenerational movement-building, biking around NYC, cooking, and being an aunt. Sabine is incredibly excited to continue grantmaking work in the borough and neighborhoods that taught her about organizing and community.
