Brooklyn Accelerator Incubator Member Named 2016 Echoing Green Fellow

We're pleased to share the exciting news that our Brooklyn Accelerator Incubator Project member Anurag Gupta, co-founder of Be More America, has been named a 2016 Echoing Green Global Fellow!

Here's Anurag winning "Big Idea":

Eliminate unconscious bias in medical decision making by training healthcare professionals to apply evidence-based strategies that encourage mindfulness and cultural competency.

Anurag has dedicated his career to innovating solutions to society’s intractable challenges. Before founding Be More America with his sister Vasuda, he developed a program to foster critical thinking among Burmese youth; supported women’s groups from around the world to express their grievances to international treaty bodies; designed a research project that identified the root causes of race-based disparities in America; provided counsel to various criminal justice reform projects at the Vera Institute of Justice; published academic articles on triple-bottom-line corporate structures such as Benefit Corporations; and served as a Fulbright Teaching Fellow in rural South Korea.
