We’re still processing our overwhelming gratitude for everyone who showed up for Brooklyn's communities last Wednesday.

The Brooklyn Changemakers Ball was designed to be both a celebration and a call to action. We walked away from the evening knowing that Brooklyn is truly the center of social change in this nation. And we are so privileged to be a partner to all who share our vision for a fair and just borough.

And thank you to the friends, family, and colleagues of our honoree and Chair Emeritus Alan Fishman, who have helped seed the new Fishman Family Fund for Economic Opportunity, which will provide game-changing support to local nonprofits for generations to come.

Finally, as stated at the Brooklyn Changemakers Ball, we have a goal to raise $1 million by the end of this year to fund our grantmaking for community-led change⁠ — and thanks to our generous donors, we're over halfway there!
