Save the date – Tuesday, November 29 – and save your holiday shopping for Brooklyn Gives on #GivingTuesday!

Too many Brooklyn organizations are trying to wage this battle with shockingly few resources. Now is the time to be generous.

We stand with you, today and every day.

You are lifelines and you are visionaries.

You protect, sustain, and empower our communities, while you lift up values, solutions, and roadmaps to propel us toward change.

For many of us, Tuesday’s decision opened the door to uncertainty and fear about what is to come.

Yet, in the face of fear and uncertainty

In the face of racial injustice

In the face of deep economic inequity

In the face of religious persecution

Today we are announcing that Brooklyn Community Foundation is formally divesting from private prisonsgun manufacturers, and predatory lenders in alignment with our commitment to advancing racial equity across all facets of its institution.
