Why do you live in Brooklyn?
Brooklyn, to me, is the perfect mix of a vibrant city and a connected community.
Why did you open up a Donor Advised Fund at Brooklyn Community Foundation?
I was looking for a way to help organizations in Brooklyn that were doing good work beyond the few charities I already knew about. It’s great to be able to rely on the Brooklyn Community Foundation to learn more about the organizations doing the best work to help Brooklynites most in need, and I’m happy knowing that our charitable donations are also supporting the important work of the Foundation.
What Brooklyn nonprofit do you recommend others learn more about?
The Brooklyn Volunteer Lawyers Project, because it provides free legal services to low-income Brooklyn residents by connecting them with lawyers who want to give back to the Brooklyn community
