Empowering Venerable Achievement Fund
Yee Wah (Eva) Lau, beloved mother of Michelle and Mo Pan Ng, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2017 following a courageous fight with cancer. She lived in Brooklyn for nearly three decades after immigrating with her family. Throughout her life, she constantly encouraged others to pursue education and professional development.
Her children established the Empowering Venerable Achievement Fund to support youth and young professionals in leadership development programs. Despite financial challenges as a first-generation immigrant, Eva relentlessly supported her children to pursue graduate degrees and various professional certifications to better equip them for their personal and career development, the embodiment of the American dream.
Honoring Eva’s inspiration, the mission of this fund is to empower a new generation of aspiring leaders with financial support for venerable achievements in their communities.
